Mojito

A citrusy and sweet highball built around rum, with the classic proportions and service that make the Mojito endure.

“The Mojito is less a drink than a cheerful little potion with impeccable timing.”

WHY THIS DRINK WORKS

The Mojito works because white rum, fresh lime juice, sugar or 3/4 oz simple syrup meet in deliberate proportion. Keep the method muddled, use fresh ice, and give the final garnish enough attention to finish the aroma without distracting from the drink.
